Honey from Ryde Isle of Wight. 227g.

Ryde bees live on some allotments on the edge of town, pollinating the vegetables that gardeners grow and taking advantage of all the wild flowers and hedges nearby.

Raw honey is unpasteurised and lightly filtered, removing only the largest particles while leaving as much pollen and natural goodness as possible. You may find a thin layer of beeswax rises to the top of the honey; this is a natural part of the settling process and is perfectly edible although you can remove it if you prefer.

All raw honey will crystallise, depending on the water content and which nectars the bees have used. If you prefer your honey runny, just warm it gently in a bowl of warm water, or near a radiator or sunny windowsill. Please don't put it in the microwave because this will destroy all the lovely goodness that the bees work so hard to include.
